Meet Jamye Jamye Barnes has combined her education, professional experience and love for design to open Pink Pineapple Interiors. After earning a Fashion Merchandising degree, Jamye pursued a rewarding career in many facets of the fashion industry including photo styling, and visual merchandising for major retailers. After 10 years of establishing herself in the industry Jamye knew it was time to step out on faith and pursue her dream of entrepreneurship. She focused her pursuit on her love of Interior Design and began the journey to cultivate her craft. |

She immediately packed her bags and headed to Florida where she studied at the Redesign Training Center and became a Certified Interior Redesigner and a member of the HGTV affiliate and foremost international Redesign Organization I.R.I.S. It's been a long time coming but Jamye can truly say she has found her passion. Why Pink Pineapple? Although discovered in the 1400's, by the 1600's the pineapple fruit remained so uncommon and coveted that it became symbolic of royal privilege to receive one as a welcome gift by the King. Since then, the pineapple has become the universal symbol for hospitality, welcome, charm and style. The color Pink happens to be one of my favorite colors because it's known to evoke creativity and warmth. I married the two words and Voila! Pink Pineapple Interiors was born. Affiliations |
